I was very excited to to learn Portugese in Oviedo but it turns out that they will be speaking almost exclusively, I am told, Spanish. I am now very excited to learn Spanish but I am confused as to how Spanish caught on in Spain all the way from Mexico. This is one of the mysteries I hope to solve while in Spain. The other mystery has something to do with the search for a completely new color but I will elaborate on that in my other blog.

It will be hard for me to leave my little ones. Sabey, she just turned five, the twins Jason, and Gean. A boy and a girl who will be three in October. They are all so small and easy to push around. I fear my ego will shrink without the sense of power I feel when I win the fight over the best spot on the couch. I will also miss my beautiful wife wife Melissa who has been waking me up for over ten years. I will need to learn how to get up on my own in Spain and this is something I am not at all confident about.
